Growing Together in 2025

As we approach the new year, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news about the Boram community! We’re opening a dedicated community space on January 1st, and I can’t wait for all the incredible events and activities we have planned. Our new space will be a hub for connection, support, and growth, making it easier for us to accomplish all our goals and build a strong, united community.

A Space to Connect and Thrive

Our new community space will host a variety of events designed to bring people together and create a sense of belonging. From meet and greets to language exchanges, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a glimpse of what you can look forward to:

• Meet and Greets: Get to know Boram members and make new friends.

• Language Exchanges: Practice new languages in a friendly, supportive environment.

• Potlucks: Share delicious food and enjoy diverse dishes.

• Online Zoom Events: Celebrate special moments with our community and learn new skills.

The Boram Swap & Shop

One of the highlights of our new space will be the Boram Swap & Shop. We’ll accept donations year-round and host three in-person swaps in 2025. This initiative will provide families with access to essential items and promote sustainability through the reuse of goods. All proceeds raised through the Shop will be put towards Boram Community initiatives helping families all across Korea. 

How the Swap & Shop Works:

• Year-Round Donations: Donate gently used items anytime throughout the year.

• In-Person Swaps: Join us for three major swap events in 2025 to exchange items and find what you need.

Building a Supportive Community

I’m incredibly excited to see how our new space will help us grow and strengthen the Boram community. Having a physical location means we can host more events, support each other better, and create lasting memories together. This space is a testament to our dedication to building a supportive network that feels like a family away from home.
